A new play about the irrepressible Josephine Baker — actor, singer, dancer, civil rights activist and resistance fighter. The narrative, interspersed with dance and song, explores the emotional state of both Josephine and the demanding times in which she lived. Vive la jupe banane!
LOVE & THE MUSE — A Chamber Opera

An Opera about composer Gustav Mahler and his wife Alma. Alma’s name has been linked romantically with many famous men both during and after her marriage to Mahler, among them Gustav Klimt and architect Walter Gropius –of the Bauhaus. Alma reluctantly came to realize that a musical career of her own would not be possible and threw herself into the role of muse. She believed her devotion to her husband’s music was a commitment to history.

Translated into Greek by Daphne Economou & into French by Stéphane Laporte.
SAPPHO was performed in English for the first time in May 2024 at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant.
